Announcement !
April 1, 2008 ( and this is no April Fool's joke ! )
Today, Sixthman officially announced the Barenaked Ladies "Ships And Dip V" cruise !
For the first time, Sixthman has switched cruise lines, and they will be using Norwegian Cruise Lines ( NCL )
and the ship will be the "Jewel"
DATES: February 1st - 6th, 2009 , leaving from the port of Miami.
ITENERARY: Sailing from Miami, FLA to Great Stirrup Cay (private island of Norwegian Cruise Lines in the Bahamas)
and one other exciting port of call to be announced soon.
No, you didn't read that wrong. Ships and Dip V will indeed be sailing on a New Cruise Line
(at least new for Sixthman and BNL), better known as Norwegian Cruise Lines, the original freestyle cruising experience.
As you may have heard, Great Big Sea has officially announced that their CD will be arriving
in stores on June 24, 2008. The Great Big Sea album / cd will be called "Fortune's Favour"
Two of the new singles on the new album are "Tonight" and the other is "Walk On The Moon"
both of these songs, Alan Doyle and Great Big Sea performed aboard the Carnival Victory, during the
Barenaked Ladies tour this past January and February 2008 in the warm water of the carrebbean.
